Ireland/UK PPL pilot flying in America. Advice needed.

Hi guys!

I'm heading over to Florida to build some hours in 2 weeks and wanted to get some feedback from you guys who have already done it. All advice is appreciated in relation to sights to see, FBOs to go with and especially the differences I'm gonna find compared to flying in Ireland/UK.

Thanks!

Take it you have your license validation paperwork done and an appointment made with an FSDO.

Which bit of Florida are you talking about ?

I suggest you use the search facility on this forum. The subject has been pretty well covered and there's a lot of good info.
One more thing.
Get up early. It's getting to the time of year when it rains every afternoon.
