Training school recommendations

Afternoon all - I've finally decided to bite the bullet and go for my PPL. I've had a trial flight and enjoyed that immensely now I need to choose a training school. I live halfway between White Waltham and Old Sarum - anyone got any recommendations on either of those? I plan to visit both for a recce shortly. The other option of course is a 3-week stint in the US...

Why do it if it's not fun?

I can definitely recommend White Waltham, since that's where I did my PPL, and where I fly from now. Very friendly club, and some great instructors. Don't know Old Sarum, so can't compare.

Sounds like you've got the right approach though - definitely visit both. Everyone's different, and what one person likes another may not - only you can decide which one you prefer.

Good luck!
