PPL Exams
Is it just me or is it true that you can do your PPL exams at anytime throughout the course even if you havent covered that particular topic with the instrucotr but know the stuff.

Yes, although your school may require you to complete some exams prior to certain stages of the flight training - e.g. Air Law before Solo, Nav and Met before the Navexs etc. Almost all of the material is covered outside of flight training - either in nightschools or by you sitting down with a book.

Almost. Some exams are very similar to the Confuser, some aren't - a number of us had surprises with this year's Met exam, for example - and RT Theory isn't included at all. However, if you can pass a Confuser exam you should have no problems with the real thing.
Do a search in this forum - a lot of good advice has been posted before.
You could pass most of the exams by learning the Confuser answers, although you wouldn't do well. However, for obvious reasons that's a bad idea....
