Flying club near RAF Coningsby
Going to be down at RAF Coningsby for a few weeks doing some work and hoping to do some flying when I'm there. Just wondering where the nearest flying club is and what aircraft they have there.

You could try RAF College Cranwell Flying Club, which is not too far away, and if you are serving in the RAF you can benefit from reduced rates. They also accept civilian members, such as myself, and operate 2 GROB 115s and a Grumman AA5. I obtained my PPL with the club and now thoroughly enjoy flying from the finest RAF airfield in the country. The club is run on a purely volunteer basis and instructors are a little scarce at times, but the flying rate are the best you will find anywhere for class A aircraft.
