EASA Notice of Proposed Amendment NPA 2015-20 Private Pilot

Private Pilot Training Outside of an ATO

2.3 Under the proposal a BTO may provide training for the following licences and ratings:-

a) Aeroplanes:

iv) Training towards the Night, Aerobatics, Mountain, and Sailplane/Banner Towing Ratings.

Is there any reason why the UK IMC and EASA “Instrument Rating (Restricted)” ratings are not included as both useful ratings for private pilots who are by definition non-commercial?

Neither the UK IMCR nor the IR(R) are affected by this proposed legislation as they are national ratings.

I am sure Beagle will clarify but I don't believe there is any proposal to absorb it into anything.

Surely the IR(R) is an EASA rating as it is on EASA licences but restricted to the UK.
