Cheap private hire Central/Eastern Europe

Hi all, looking to hire in Croatia/Slovenia/Austria/Hungary/Poland/Czech republic areas...

Anyone has any contacts with some private hirers or aeroclubs?

I looked at the major flight schools in these countries but cheapest am finding for a C172 is 120 euro per hour.... trying to go as low as possible if anyone has any tips?

Cheers

cheap flying

If that's wet, 120/hour sounds cheap!

In Hungary, the rent is typically wet and based on engine hours.
If you stick to a C172, try to get in touch with someone speaking English here: "Kék Ég" Repülő Sportegyesület - Pilóta képzés, repülőgépes túrák, sétarepülés
This club has a very old 172 (HA-SUN), rental was around 110 EUR/hour some years back, worth to check again. But you must also factor in at least 3 months of club membership, last time it was 20 EUR/month.
Others major operators to check:
Fly-Coop Budapest airline transport pilot trainings
Flyteam
CAVOK Aviation Training | HU.ATO.053
If you are OK with plastic airplanes, you can get an older DV20 Diamond Katana at 92 EUR/hour here, if you pay 10 hours in advance (normal rate 100 EUR/hour).
Pannonair

These are based around the capital city.

The cost of the aircraft may be cheaper but you need to look at the other costs such as travel and accommodation, as the old Arab proverb says " cheap is not so cheap".
