Pipers in Los Angeles area?

Hello, does anyone know where I can rent a Piper Warrior in the Los Angeles area? I live in the south bay area, and I need a Warrior for my checkride!

The sheer number of FBOs at Long Beach, there must be a few with PA28s.

Personally I find flying in the LA basin rather unenjoyable with the combination of dense connurbation and poor visibility. I've several times rented PA28s from FBOs at Palm Springs, which isn't far out of town, with much better flying conditions. But, I've not been there for about 4 years, so don't know the current lay of the land - google's your friend I think.

Why not check out in a C172? That seems much more widely available from clubs at SMO, HHR, TOA, LGB etc.

If it really has to be a Warrior then maybe try Continental at Van Nuys.

Fair point about the C172 - it's easily the most common rental aeroplane in the USA, and not all that different to the PA28 family to fly.

If the checkride is for initial licence issue not a good time to change aircraft type.........
