You couldn't make it up!!
Two new LPV approaches at Liverpool. You must have an ADF for the go around fix! Why can't the fix be the NDB GPS waypoint, as the practise worldwide?
Seems perverse to include a mandatory piece of kit which is no longer required for IFR.
So much for CAA progress on GPS approaches.

Clever thinking
No doubt they've done it that way so that in the very rare event of a GNSS failure you have a means to fly the missed approach. Clever thinking on someones part I'd say.

And in the event of a NDB failure during an NDB approach......?
