Flying near Oxford

I am currently visiting the UK for a couple weeks staying just South of Oxford. Thought it might be fun to check out some of the local flying if weather is ok next weekend. Maybe even have a bit of a dual fly somewhere. Not worried about hours for the logbook or anything like that, just a bit a fun.

Any suggestions of which airfeilds clubs/schools are best to visit in the area?

Wycombe Air Park EGTB could be a good place to go. Booker Aviation for PA28, C172 and others; Chiltern Classic Flight for Chipmunk flying.

Turweston, just north of Oxford is really great. Good flying club to hire aeroplanes and not expensive.

Thanks for the tips

Managed to get out to Wycombe Air Park yesterday, it was a last minute thing but they were very accommodating and got a quick flight in a Chipmunk. Great Fun.

A very busy airfield compared to what I am used to, but it was a lovely day.
