EASA PPL Training
Hi all, I've done some trawling through the forums in search of an answer but can't seem to find what I'm looking for, so here I am.
I am currently training for the EASA PPL in Cyprus, I've completed my Class 2 medical here and shortly to sit all 9 exams. Unfortunately I think I'm going to have to return to the UK short of the 45 hours required. Do the exams gained in Cyprus still qualify me to complete the course in the UK? Also, where do I stand on the medical front, will I need another medical in the UK? Thanks in advance.

Your exams will still count, so long as you have completed the full Cypriot set, and have official evidence of having passed them.
You will need to either transfer your medical records from the Cypriot 'CAA' to the UK CAA, or, and this might be easier, do another medical when you get back.
Your new school will have to certify that you have completed the course in accordance with Part.FCL, so make sure that your logbook is signed by the Head of Training at your Cypriot school to certify that the entries are correct, and ask them to send a copy of your training records to your new school.
