Church Fenton/Leeds East airfield.
Have to take our Baby Jet (Mustang) into Church Fenton next week.
Haven't been there since military days.
Can't find any info on their website.
Can anyone help with advice/info etc.
Cheers,
Jez.

Leeds East Airport - Approach and Departure Procedures
NB: ALL APPROACHES TO CHURCH FENTON TO BE VIA REPORTING VRP'S AT 1500 FEET
(I assume you've seen this though so apologies if you have)
And just need to note that Sherburn is close by so probably worth listening out on their frequency too (122.600).

Hi Jez.
Physically, CF airfield is just as you left it all those years ago, although you may find the domestic site looks a bit sad and derelict.
All the navaids are gone, of course, and there is only an 'air ground' radio. 'Fento Radio' 126.5.
No protection of a MATZ or even an ATZ anymore, so keep your eyes peeled. Sherburn is still very close by, and busy with light aircraft.
Pilots' info is here.

As far as I know, there is no RFFS yet.
