Gliding

Anyone know what is involved in adding a Glider rating to a PPL SE(A)?

Thanks,
Julian.

If you are talking about a 'Touring Motor Glider' then you just need to pass a Licensing Skill Test with an CRE who is TMG qualified.

If you're talking about a 'glider sans engine' then you need to satisfy the requirements of the British Gliding Association for the issue of a Gliding Certificate - nothing to do with your PPL or the CAA or JAA.
