PPL training re-starting

Hi,

I have around 32 hours total time towards my PPL. Due to work commitments and moving home I had to stop the training last year. I only have one ground exam to complete.

I plan on starting training again at a local airfield in Septembr this year.

Can someone explain whether or not full hours still count towards the PPL or would I need to top them up?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,
J

Hi PlaneJ. Welcome to PPRuNe.

Don't be surprised if the Mods shift this question to the 'Private Flying Forum.

Which PPL were you doing?

For the moment, I'm going to assume that you were doing the EASA PPL.

Your hours will still count, so long as they can be verified. If you are going back to the same school, it's no problem. If not , you need to get your old school to send your training records to your new school, sign your logbook to certify the entries. and certify all the writen exams on your PPL application form.

The writen exams will still count, so long as you do the last one less than 18 months after you did the first one, and they fall within the CAA scheme of 'sittings'.
