Heads up: SkyDemon and Apple IOS 8.03
Some of you may have run into the problem of using an external GPS reciever with your iPad updated to IOS 8.03 where the tablet would no longer communicate with the GPS.
Apple have released IOS 8.04 today which seems to have resolved the problem. It works with my GNS 2000 and iPad mini.

It's iOS 8.3 that had the GPS problem. iOS 8.4 seems to have fixed it.

Just figured out a stranged behavior with IOS 8.4.
It is still loosing connection with GNS 2000, while with GNS 5870 the bluetooth connection is stable and working perfectly.
It looks like the GNS 2000 device is malfunctioning somehow. Anyone experiencing the same problem with GNS 2000 bluetooth connection?

Mine is working fine. iPad mini 2 with a GNS 2000. In fact if anything it picks up the signal from the GNS more or less straight away. It could be a while on 8.2 until it got itself sorted out.

Just for the record. With iOS 9 Beta 1, SkyDemon will not even launch and crashes on first loadup screen.
I know its beta software, but some developers, like myself, run development devices as well as "stable" devices :-)
So, if you rely on SkyDemon then dont upgrade to any iOS 9 version - yet.
My (crap) GNS2000 and iOS8.4 work perfectly (as does SkyDemon on the latest stable iOS8.4)
