Lapsed CAA IMC to EASA IR(R)
Hi,
I'm after a bit of advice from someone in the know!
My PPL(A) has lain dormant for a few years, and I'm in the process of getting back up and running.
I am shortly to renew my SEP rating, but also used to hold an IMC rating before EASA days.
I'm struggling to find on the CAA website the rules regarding this - can I convert this old rating into an EASA IR(R) with a checkflight, or will I need more than just that?
I am in regular instrument flying practise from military flying, so would hope to be able to achieve relatively quickly, but just can't find the regs laid down!
Thanks very much!

CAP 804
You simply need to follow the renewal criteria outlined in CAP 804 Part I Section 5 Part E Page 5 para 3.5.2 or, if you hold a valid Green single pilot military IR, para 3.5.3.
Do this before submitting your PPL for conversion, then submit everything together, so that you will be issued with a part-FCL PPL(A) with IR(R).
