ALL WELCOME AOPA Member's Working Group meeting June 6th
Join AOPA and BWPA (British Women Pilots Association) at Sherburn in Elmet on Saturday 6 June 2015.
Hosted by Sherburn Aero Club, who will handle all arrival procedures.
Members of the AOPA Members Working Group will be in attendance.
10:30 to 12:30 Members Working Group Meeting; All welcome to join in.
14:00 to 15:30 Open Forum
Landing is FREE for all aircraft and everyone who flies in will be given a free lunch (including a drink).
Airfield Information :
PPR is not required, however it will help Sherburn if they can get an idea of numbers to ensure adequate parking, ground staff and catering is all sorted. Please email your details with registration, type, PIC name, number on board and ETA.
The Church Fenton MATZ was suspended on the 1st January 2015.
All circuits are 1000ft on the QFE, standard overhead joins at 2000 ft QFE.
There are noise abatement procedures in force. Pilots are asked to avoid over flying the local villages.

Many thanks to Sherburn for making us so welcome today. A pity the wind (gusting up to 40 kts at some points in the day) stopped people from flying in.
Nonetheless, good to meet and talk with local pilots.
