LICENSE APPLICATION

Evening everyone,

Sent my PPL application off yesterday recorded delivery and it arrived with the CAA today, just wondering how they'd contact me if there were any problems processing it? Or if they even contact you to say they are on with processing it?

It could be a week or more before they even start processing your application. You won't hear anything from them until you get your Licence back, or a letter saying they are unable to proceed with your application.

The last Licence application I was involved with just came through yesterday after 3 weeks.

I would give them at least 2 weeks, and if you haven't heard anything, give them a call to see if there is a problem.

They might forward it to the FAA, which will delay things somewhat.

For me, currently 19days and still waiting. Revalidation and Easa conversion.

I received a phone call last week to resolve a problem. I needed to send them an extra bit of paper.

I'm now on day 14 (working), waiting for mine to come back. Every time I ring they tell me nothing! "We're experiencing high volumes currently"
