Overcast at 600ft where I am at present so not going to make it... Bummer

Not the best weather for me so will leave it for another time. Safe flying all those who are still going ahead.

Flew over the CIT twice today, Cranfield had some instrument training traffic as usual but I didn't notice any vast fly-in activity

Understand from Curly that the weather was pretty grim down south. Absolutely glorious for us on the way down and back. Never mind, these fly ins from all over the country are always fraught with potholes.

Understand from Curly that the weather was pretty grim down south.
Yes, the front which I was expecting to scrub my trip today actually moved further south sooner than originally forecast

Only just made it back to Rochester - clouds down to 700ft. Was fine until south of Thames.

Thing - thanks for organising. Good to meet you and hope you didn't forget to photograph the massive flight line of PPruNe attendees........
