French airspace
Last year I entered the Malta Air Rally and routed down the Rhone Valley to St Tropez VOR before coasting out to Corsica. The navigation around Marseilles and Toulon was taxing!
I have again entered this year's Malta Rally and am considering routing from Carcassonne direct over the Gulf of Lyon to STP. However, the air space off the south coast of France is littered with Restricted and Danger areas. Does anyone have experience of this routing and its feasibility?
Any PPruners going to Malta - look out for two weary Yorkshiremen in C182 G-BHIB.
