How do you remember flying knowledge?

Arrange to fly as a copilot with this sort of pilot and you will learn a lot

Or fly with someone as experienced. My regular flying buddy and I learn a lot from each other and keep each other on our toes, otherwise ribald insults about our flying abilities and suspect parentage are bandied across the cockpit. It might only be tiny things but theres always something of the 'I wouldn't have thought of doing it like that' each flight.
