To calculate True, I was taught to use:

"Cadbury Dairy Milk Very Tasty" (Compass > Deviation > Magnetic > Variation > True)

For the opposite, "True Virgins Make Dull Companions"

Ok, agree it's a pain in the backside. Learn what the CAA want, pass the exams, then find out about the real world. I got 97 percent in ATPL nav. I am still capable of getting lost. Sky demon is my best friend..

I agree with Piltdown man except the last one. Not WCA (as in question 1) is given but drift is given, so leftdrift is corrected to the right:097
