Merry Christmas!

Who's spreading peace and cheer from the sky today?

I wanted to wish the controllers etc. Merry Christmas but we're closed for Christmas recess so I'm stuck down here. As is traditional in this situation the weather is perfect.

So who's doing what today?

Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year

Best days flying of the year by far, no wind, unlimited vis and just too amazing to put into words, took off from Forfar, turned North and climbed up to 6000 over the snow covered Grampians, turned West and could see right over the Strathmore valley, Fife and as far as the hills at the back of Edinburgh about 60 miles away. Over Perthshire, Dundee and Leuchars then dropped down to 10 feet amsl for a beautiful cruise along the coast from St Andrews to the Tay, even got a wave from the Coast Guard folks in their fancy looking boat. Then back in for a greaser of a landing at Forfar after 2 hours flying,

(Even managed a wheel touch on a sand bar on the Tay estuary)
You just can't beat it,

Merry Xmas all
