Piaggio P180

Piaggio P180, the Ferrari of the skies.

I was wondering how one controls pitch in this wonderful aircraft

Both the canard wing and the tail horizontal stabilator have moving surfaces

Would both work simultaneously or would the canard have priority

Thx Ronny

Piaggio P180

You mean the flaps on the canard and the elevators on the tail plane?

Google is your friend ;-)

how one controls pitch
hm, what am I missing?
push ==> cows and houses grow bigger. most other things too. speed goes up.
pull: ==> reverse above.

Jan, I think you are missing something with your explanation.

Pull and the houses get smaller. Keep pulling some more and they get bigger

Probably not with a canard, but they'll certainly start getting bigger quickly.

Listen to Piaggio's chief pilot Lorenzo Villi talk about the technical advantages of the design and why it's so fast. He knows what he's talking about and can convey it in an easy to understand manner.

I'm getting one one day, if it's the last thing I do.
