Bad experience in greece for civil aviation-phaeton aviation
I rented a cessna 172 from a flying school called phaeton aeroclub, based at megara airport, the main civil aviation near athens, only to discover that the plane had not been insured for myself as no offical documents linked me to the owner and the other occupants.
The plane came close to being grounded at mykonos airport.
Further to that and contrary to agreed terms and conditions (rental was wet as usual), the purchased fuel was never reimbursed. I urge all interested in renting from megara to check that the plane has all documents and that you can find a way to be reimbursed for all purchased fuel.
