Wind Turbine Manby
Nice to see that the planning inspectorate has disallowed an appeal by a wind turbine developer against East Lindsey District Councils (Lincolnshire) decision to refuse a planning application adjacent to a private strip. This is now the second refusal for a wind turbine close to a strip in this area.

Hi,
Any links to the decisions - council and inspector's?
We have had two applications go to appeal at Strathaven and both rejections have been upheld. Would be good to see the exact grounds the council and inspector focused on.
Thanks.

You would have to look on ELDC website. The application that was refused at Strubby was largely on the basis of aircraft safety. This was several years ago. The Manby decision I am not sure about but could be researched fairly easily, the planning information can be accessed on the ELDC planning portal, ref N113/02189/12. Not sure where to find the planning inspectorates decision.
The Manby strip is private and located about 2 miles east of the old airfield. Nearest accessible strip is Strubby(Old Heliport).
