Many congratulations to Team GB who won the Team Cup
Steve And Howard who won the 20m 2 seat class
Jez and Richard who came 3 and 4 in the Standard Class
and G and Tim who came 5 and 9 in the Club Class.

Sadly, as it is nearly impossible to present a gliding competition on telly, nobody cares.

MM - they used to think that of sailing - probably true of fleet racing but America's Cup looked pretty good last year, and we did a pretty good fist with Royal Lymington Cup 15 years ago. Worth a try - even if just results and some dramatic "finsish" footage

There was some good footage of the Lasers at the Sydney Olympics as well.

FLARM tracking is starting to make gliding comps a spectator sport, but the best bit is still watching them come over the line trailing what's left of the water that used to be in the wings!
