Helicopter Trial Flight

[Slow Progress]

Hello I am in the northwest of UK and looking for a helicopter trial lesson for the mother in law.

Looking for recommendations of companies who are friendly and give good value. My MIL would like maybe 2 hours at the controls. There are many which state 1hour lesson but only 20mins flying which isn't very good.

Also preferably four seater as she wants me to go along for the ride too. What am I letting myself in for haha?

I'm not in the UK, so I cannot help with specific helicopter companies. However, I suggest that for a first flight, you aim a little lower - 2 hours is much too much for anyone to handle and appreciate on a first helicopter flight. It would be information and sensory overload. 20 - 30 minutes of flying is lots for the first flight, more than that will be a waste for a first lesson.

Look for a Robinson 44, or Bell Jet Ranger if your wallet is thicker. Consider the possible effect of your riding in the back, in diluting the experience for MIL, in that she will be talking to you while she should be flying.
