Sport cruiser structural inspection SB
The latest SB issued requires inspection of the landing gear support structure in the fuselage for loose rivets.
I would advise all owners to get this inspection carried out ASAP as some aircraft have been found with the heads of the rivets missing.
The rectification requires the rivets to be replaced with bolts but due to access issues this requires the wings to be removed and a hole cut in the structure.
