Seaplane flying UK latest
With Neil's seaplanes taking a break at the moment, what is the state of seaplane flying in the UK at the moment, especially training?
I believe Caledonian Seaplanes is also not operating either.
I notice that Loch Lomond are still doing pleasure flights and the privately owned G-DRAM continues to fly, but everything else, in Scotland at least, has gone rather quiet.

Hi,
Yes I think Hamish is still offering his aircraft for Training and its a fine machine no doubt about it. Caledonian, Neil's Seaplanes and TAFC are no longer training. Over here in Ireland we have NFC offering the easa seaplane rating in EI-CFP and they are good guys.
Lots of private guys going bits and pieces. I have 4 seaplanes off market for sale. 1XPiper J3 on 1500 straight floats and 3X Aviat A1A on 2000 straight floats. Nice Lake Buc in Romania too that I ferried down a while back. PM if interested.
