Ariel Flying Group
Can anyone enlighten me as to the fate of the original Ariel Flying Group?
AFAIK AFG was a section of the BBC Club and for many years was based at Denham and offered flying training and aircraft hire to members of the BBC Club and certain guest members.
Googling reveals the existence of an organisation with this name but appearing not to own aircraft nor offering flying training. The aircraft latterly operated by the original AFG was G-RAFG, a T67C, which no longer appears to have any connection. Previously owned/operated aircraft were Rallye ST150 G-BECD and Bo209 G-AZRA.
Any information on what became of the instructors would be appreciated.

I instructed there in it's dying days, when the remaining aircraft were the Slingsby and a Skyhawk, under John O'Hara. I believe he spends lots of his time in France now but no longer instructs.
