starting ppl exams in spain, finishing in uk?

I began a PPL course in Spain. I have taken 4 of the exams but now need to return to the UK.

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to transfer the 4 exams I have taken with the Spanish EASA authority to the UK system so that I can continue my course in the UK?

I don't want to have to sit any of the four exams again!!

No, the exams may not be transferred:
FCL.025 Theoretical knowledge examinations for the issue of licences.
(a) Responsibilities of the applicant
(1) Applicants shall take the entire set of examinations for a specific licence or rating under the responsibility of one Member State.
You will either have to pass the remaining exams in Spain, or take them all again in the UK.

Thank you for your reply.

Am I correct that I can pass all of the written exams in Spain and then do the practical training and flying exam in the UK/elsewhere in the EU to complete the PPL license?

with many thanks.

That is my understanding; however, you should write to the appropriate national aviation authority and obtain confirmation in writing.
