Backup to ipad/skydemon
I have an ipad which and I'm going to subscribe to skydemon
I have an iPhone and a garmin 495. I tempted to sell the 495 as it's too big and wit the ipad I'd never use it's bells and whistles. However what would everyone recommend as a backup to skydemon? Preferably something that has European charts too. Happy to use something on the iPhone but if so what? Or should I buy a cheapo GPS unit, or just stick with the 495?

Well the obvious choice is EasyVFR using an Android device. Then the only thing in common is your use of the GPS system!
