Anyone any idea how long the CAA take to issue the PPL once all the paperwork has been sent off??

Mine took about 10 days in Jan 2002. But I've seen posts here recently that suggests the time to process has increased slightly, but I'd imagine you'll get it back within a couple of week.

Congratulations on passing the Skill Test. (Saw your post annoucing the same, but couldn't reply as I was temporarily uncertain of my pasword )

Can I recommend revising the license privilages section of the Air Law exam again, when you get your PPL back. I undertook a flight soon after qualifying, which upon reflection may well have been outside my license privilages (but I wasn't sure until I checked exactly what these were - I'd taken and passed Air Law some 6 months prior to receivng my license, and had forgotten the detail).

Enjoy the flying.
