I'm using Skydemon and Jeppesen FliteDeck VFR interchangeably on the IPAD WiFi and the functionality of both applications is really great.
In addition to the Skydemon subscription, I also installed the German DFS AIP product to enhance my experience with Skydemon.
In terms of handling though, my preference is to use Skydemon. But I usually use Skydemon when flying to a destination and then use Jeppesen FliteDeck on the return trip.
In terms of pricing and functionality, I would advice to get Skydemon.
