Jepp Mobile FD Questions
First post, please be gentle!
Can anyone give me a few pointers with Mobile FD? I am just trying to get the winds aloft/turbulence forecast information straight.
It seems to be incredibly erratic as to what it offers in terms of forecast times and altitudes. Sometimes only 6 hours ahead, sometimes 3 different options. Sometimes up to 40,000ft and other times up to 25,000. Often it won't show information for either.
Is this a known issue? Jepp technical support were not exactly forthcoming!
Better to stick to myfpo which seems to be very reliable and offers a more clear timeline??
I would be very grateful for any observations from other users.

I should confess, I am just an aviation geek who travels a great deal and loves collecting all possible information before the flight and tracking my way using the moving map. There is an incredible thrill seeing a predicted area of turbulence and then experiencing it! So these questions are of no urgency! As it says above 'the sheer pleasure of flight'!!
