Remote Compass Swing
Looking for some guidance re Compass Swings
We recently changed maintainer for our 182. Whilst the CAFAM report from our previous maintainer says compass swing isn't due until 2015, our new maintainer is suggesting that the remote compass is overdue as there is no separate entry in the compliance statement.
Im not disputing the fact that there should be a seperate entry, question is whether its essential to have a current compass swing on the remote compass when we are only flying VFR?
