Cool Damage History Register

Does any one know of a register to see damage history on a particular aircraft.
Reason being , considering joining a group and would like to check out aircraft before getting too serious.
I realise that I can go to the aircraft log books , I just wondered whether there was a register via the internet that logs major damage.

Yes, it will be in the aircraft logbook(s). These have to be maintained from new until well after the demise of the aeroplane, and you've certainly every right to ask to see them - although you may be looking at an hour or two of wading through the detail until you're satisfied.

Note, this is different to and separate from the tech log which you are used to filling out as a pilot.
