The UK Met Office has issued a Storm Warning valid 1900 utc 27 Oct till 2359 utc 28 Oct for winds to 80kts in the southern part of the London FIR. Anyone with an A/C tied down outside might want to check their tethers.

Ah yes, the first real battering of the Autumn, lets hope it'll be the last. My aircraft isn't outside but there are several at our airfield that are, and none I believe are tethered!
