Not a lot to choose really between AFE and Pooleys. AFE lists more airfields, Pooleys gives more additional information (frequencies, procedures, phone numbers, etc.)
Personally I use Pooleys because I'm used to it, the loose-leaf format allows me to take the relevant pages out and put them in my kneeboard. I have used the AFE guide , and there's nothing wrong with it.
Watch out for Lockyears farmstrips, the idea is good but it's not updated often enough.
