Question Engineer to install new Radio & Intercom

Does anyone have a recommendation for an engineer to install my new radio and intercom ?

Ideally they should be based in East Anglia and you should have personal experience of their work !!

Thanks

If you can fly as far as Derby then I strongly recommend Airspeed Aviation. Give them a call.

E-Plane Ltd. at Fenland may be able to help you.

LightAircraft Maintence

We use them for our TB10

Without knowing what equipment you are installing and in what aircraft you are installing it recommendations are meaningless at worst and a guess at best.

Give the forum the data to work with and it will come up with good advice.

It's a Funkwerk ATR500 VHF Transceiver (with built in VOX intercom) - Panel Mount

It's an EASA C of A aeroplane (SF-28 Tandem Falke)

Based East Anglia - a trip to Derby is not a problem.

Thanks for the recommendations/info so far chaps..........

We got Airspeed to fit a Funkwerk ATR833 (which we supplied from elsewhere) with separate SPA400 Intercom, and removing lots of redundant equipment for our PtoF SA Bulldog. The Batt light keeps coming appearing on the ATR833 but we can't blame Airspeed for that (and we ignore it without problems).
They did a neat job (reduced basic aircraft weight by 16.5Kg) and blanked off the spaces left by the old equipment well.
No complaints (and we struggled to find anyone else to do the work).
