Lambs Hill, Skye
Planning a trip to Skye and noticed "Lambs Hill" on the half-mil. Never noticed it before! Does anyone have any info on it as i can't find any, wondering if it is open to visitors.

CS,
Last summer I was on Skye and drove by to see if I could find it. I couldn't quite find it, but got right into the area. From what I could tell, it's simply a hang gliding site, or perhaps a field (on the top of some high ground) used by trikes.
If you're flying anything more substantial than a trike then I don't think it will be of much use to you.

Many years ago, a towed parachute site was depicted on aeronautical charts about 2 nm south west of Fairoaks. Tw@t who drew the chart had mixed up deg E and deg W.
