Jar PPL or EASA PPL Licence
Hi,
Last Thursday I successfully completed my PPL training, the skills test was probably the most nerve racking experience of my life but thanks to 45hrs of training by an excellent instructor I passed successfully.
I sent my application form and £191.00! to Gatwick yesterday and wondered how long it will take for them to process my application and send me my piece of paper?
Also, I understand the CAA are no longer issuing JAR PPL licences, what is the the difference between that and the new EASA PPL licences?
Regards
Anthony

Hi, congratulations!
They're still quoting 17 working days and ask you not to call and chase your application:
Pilots | Personal Licences and Training
In my case (in June), it took them a few days less but I think it's save to expect your license within more or less 3 weeks.
