Ronaldsway

Morning,

Has anyone been to Ronaldsway since Manx Flyers stopped operating?

Just wondering what the fees/service was like and the latest situation with handling...

Cheers.

Got it. Thanks! I've just read that handling isn't mandatory (ask for taxi to south side of the field), but getting in/out of the gate can be problematic. Any experiences on this? We have a relative coming to pick us up, so getting to the main terminal to pay the fee won't be a problem.

I flew into Ronaldsway yesterday and we used Rendevous on the south side. We were met by a guy called Chris who gave us a lift to the Terminal. We were staying a few hours and visiting ATC so once we were ready we gave him a quick call and he came back to pick us up and take us back to the Southside. Landing fee was about a tenner, plus parking and handing (£25) the total bill came to about £45. The number given on the NOTAM was for commercial aircraft but they passed us a mobile number for the handler guy Chris to book in directly with him. He can also arrange the Flight Plan/GAR although we had done all this directly ourselves.

Getting out is no problem, its a one way turn style type gate.

Getting back in requires a phone call to airport security, never had to wait that long.

The challenge has always been getting picked up on the south side, if youve got that sorted then you should be fine.
