Manhattan skyline tour / intro lesson recommendation
Title's it really.
Any recommendations (beyond what Google tells me) for an operation in the extended NYC area (good for public transport from Manhattan) that is good / good value for Manhattan / East river tour and an intro lesson combined, possibly leading to PPL course.
Student + 1 pax.

I used Pegasus Flight at Linden, NJ. Flew a C172 with instructor for an hour up and down the Hudson corridor. The train goes from Penn Station, and while infrequent is pretty easy. They even dropped me back at the station afterwards. I also flew from Long Island MacArthur, which seemed to offer a lot more choice in terms of aircraft, but harder to get to and further from Manhattan once airborne.

Mid-Island flight school out of Islip (KISP). Did my PPL there - good school, good fleet of planes and have done the Manhatten route with them several times (East River requires ATC clearance from La Guardia so depends on workload/traffic patterns).
