IMC ground exam

What do you have to study? I have Air Pilot's Manual Vol 5 - do I need all of it or just bits? Are there practice tests anywhere? Thanks

All of it except the night flying bit.

There's a book called The IMC Rating Question & Answer Simplifier by Philip Mathews and Jeremy Pratt. This contains six practice papers with fully explained answers.

I picked up the Thom manual and the IMC Confuser from eBay for a couple of quid. I felt a bit guilty actually because they must have cost the guy a fair whack new!
