GA in Berlin?
Was thinking of flying into Berlin soon but slightly scratching my head at the options. The two major airports no longer have AVGAS and all the others are just rather far away.
Where did all the GA traffic go after Tempelhof closed?

I'm planning to go to Berlin later in the year and have decided to land at Schönhagen. Met some of the airfield staff at Aero Expo this last week and they were happy to hear we were coming.
They do a shuttle bus to the nearest train station for 10 Euros per bus. Trains leave every 30 mins and take about 25 mins.

Do you know how regularly the shuttles run or is it just done on demand?

I personally prefer Schoenhagen (EDAZ), as it is probably one of the most professional GA airfields in Germany. Nevertheless, the most convenient field for traveling to Berlin IMHO is Strausberg (EDAY). Within a five minute walk from the airport you can reach the S-Bahn railway station. The trains take you right to the middle of the city for a very reasonble 3.- EUR.
