Old Buckenham Notam

Just come across the following NOTAM for Old Buckenham, EGSV:

Q) EGTT/QMRLT/IV/NBO/A/000/999/5230N00103E005
B) FROM: 13/04/09 10:50C) TO: 13/06/30 20:00
E) FORMER STARTER SECTION ON RUNWAY 25 MARKED WITH ARROWS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE BY AIRCRAFT.

I guess that shortens the usable runway from 800 metres to 640 Metres. Not a major problem for most but possibly an issue for bigger singles or twins.

It was rough anyway. I considered using it once and had backtracked a few metres down it when I thought better of it. Full of potholes and a liberal sprinkling of gravel and some larger stones - not good for the prop! It appears to be the original WW2 surface and hasn't benefitted from the tarmac laid on top of the rest of the runway.

Great place to fly into though!

The NOTAM isn't PERM, must be a good sign.
