A nice day yesterday

I've not been doing much flying over the last couple of years as I got rather bogged down with my Falco refurb but now she's flying again and I'm looking forward to the new season!

And I find it very difficult to post pictures so this is not the size I'd like it to be........

You're telling me yesterday (Satuday 6th) was good. Climbs hitting 1000 feet per minute to 5000 foot QFE cloudbase near Aviemore and all without an engine. Lovely views of the Cairngorms and Spey Valley.

And today - snow!

Saturday was indeed a lovely day once the cloud cover had lifted. Stunning views in Snowdonia followed by a very pleasant lunch at Caernarfon admiring the scenery.

I'm sad to say, stickandrudder, that no-one seems to have risen to the bait and asked what you were doing flying around in a Spitfire, photographing your own aircraft!

Trust you to let the cat out of the bag!

I do seem to have trouble loading pictures and this one was no exception. The fact that it's so small probably explains why no-one bit!

I'll try again:

Here's a photo of me taking the photo!
