Incident at Coventry?!

I was out flying this evening (Weds 24), and at around 1830 there was some kind of incident with a C152 on the runway at Coventry. Does anyone know what happened? Didn't seem to be any damage as the a/c was able to taxi away, but there were a couple of fire engines, and the r/w was closed for about 15 minutes.

Not sure, but can't have been too serious. When I rolled in for work at 20:00, everything was back to normal.

Cool

Yes, I wondered what the problem was. I landed shortly after the runway reopened but had to leave quickly afterwards (was that you at the holding point aerbabe). Just a short delay for me but I need the hours anyway!

I've been told the a/c veered off the runway, but my source was not there at the time, so there may be another explanation.

SN that could be true. I just saw him on the grass next to the r/w, prop running.

Moneyshot Hey... nice landing!
Didn't look like he was hurt. Taxied past me quite happily (although he didn't smile or wave
