Holiday homes with an airstrip/aerodrome

I'm thinking of making a trip from the Netherlands to places in Europe. I'm looking for great destinations with Holiday accommodation at airfields:

UK: Self Catering Holiday Cottage With Farm Airstrip Lanarkshire Central Scotland
France: Page location d'Atlantic Air Park
Germany: Ferienpark am Bernsteinsee | Flugplatz
Netherlands: Texel International Airport - Vliegveld Texel - Flugplatz Texel - EHTX (Just to make the list complete: i've been too many times at EHTX, so I will not go there ;-) )

I was wondering if you know any other accomodation (Hotel, Holiday Home, Campsite) at or near (walking distance) an Airport/airfield/farm strip?

Many UK gliding airfields have a small number of caravans on the airfield which they might allow short term rentals on.

Fadmoor in North Yorkshire has a holiday cottage on site and it's about 20 minute stroll to Gillamoor and the Royal Oak pub, which also has accomodation.

In Sweden there are some nice places.
Siljansnäs - Beautiful scenery
Siljan AirPark, Siljansnäs

Varberg/Getterön - Nice and small airfield on the westcoast with a very nice Café and short distance from the city.

If you have a tent there are also a lot more nice places.

Dornock in highlands has hotels nearby in walking distance.

Glenforsa has a hotel virtually on site but the field is shut just now.

Perth has a hotel on site.

Kirkwall there is a bus into town and loads to go and see around the island.

Dundee 5 min walk.

All in scotland.

Have a look at kirkwall for a trip. The orkney islands has stuipd amounts of stuff to see. And cracking flying on the way to get there.

Also in Devon is Sheepwash, with holiday cottage apartments on site. I hope, and think, that the new owners have kept the strip open.

I have friends who live on an Airpark in SW France accessed from Biscarrosse-Parentis airfield. They are doing pilot B&B, have space on their apron outside their front door for 3 aircraft; open-air swimming pool; AvGas on the airfield, ATC Mon-Fri (speak English) no landing fees. Earls Colne - has a comfortable hotel right next to the strip (part asphalt), a golf course, tennis courts and is close to plenty of other airfields to make trips to as well as other interesting places.

Oban has a hotel at the end of the runway - with a spectacular view over the entrance to Loch Etive. Fuel and free mountain bike loan. Short flights to at least 5 islands with hotels within walking distance for a meal before return.

Have you tried the airstrip down in Muchamiel (Mutxamel), Spain, close to Alicante? aeroclubalicante.com That's the place to go if you was sun and beach close by, though you'll have to wait for another 3-4 weeks for it to be comfortable.
